Amateur competition rules:
For amateurs the Belgian Amateur League rules apply. (WDCAL-rules)

Please take note of the following specific rules regarding competition clothing:
For the Start-to-dance and Pre-Amateur categories competition clothing is not allowed.
For the Amateur (4 dance competition) categories competition clothing is allowed.
For the Masterclass (5 dance competition) categories competition clothing is mandatory.
For the Rising Star competitions, One-dance Artistic Waltz and Solo competitions, competition clothing is allowed.
One-dance Artistic Waltz rules:
Separations and side-by-side figures and similar are allowed and highly appreciated.
Solo competitions:
Artistic smooth style is recommended.
General:
It is strictly prohibited to consume your own drinks in the dance hall. Drinks and snacks can be purchased at the bar.
